Light Opal

In the mining areas of Coober Pedy, Mintabie, White Cliffs etc., in the south of Australia, you can find Light Opals. The mining shafts are dug between 5-30 meters under the surface to get to the Opal veins. The base color of this Opal is mostly milky white, some more, some less opaque.
